Porous metal-organic frameworks have attracted much attention due to their diverse applications as new materials. The symposium will focus on progress and perspectives of metal-organic frameworks, with respect to designs, synthetic methodology, reactions, properties, and applications. The symposium will cover the topics of (1) Framework Design and Synthesis, (2)Applications in Gas Storage/Separation, (3) Physical Properties & Theoretical Studies,(4) Applications in Catalysis, and Sensors. The invited speakers of this symposium are as follows: Prof. Omar M. Yaghi (US), Prof. Susumu Kitagawa (JP), Prof. Jeffrey Long (US), Prof. Randall Q. Snurr (US), Prof. Matthew Rosseinsky (UK), Prof. Mike Zaworotko (US), Prof. Roland Fischer (DE), Prof. George Shimizu (CA), Prof. Martin Schroder (UK), Prof. Cameron Kepert (Au). |
