The environmental chemistry, environmental behaviour, and sources of persistent organic pollutants or emerging priority pollutants will be a focus in this symposium. Content will focus on new information from environmental models, environmental monitoring, or laboratory studies that help to explain where contaminants come from, how they move around, how they are transformed, or where they end up. The Symposium is sponsored by Wellington Laboratories Inc.

Invited speakers include Dr. Derek Muir (Environment Canada), Dr. Kevin Jones (U Lancaster), Dr. Frank Wania (U Toronto), and Dr. Yuichi Hori (Centre for Environmental Science in Saitama).
