Polymers, liquid crystals, colloids, amphiphilic molecules, and biological materials form soft interfaces. Chemistry and physicochemical properties of soft interfaces control various functional properties such as wetting, adhesion, biocompatibility, tribology and electrical properties. However, the relationships between interfacial chemistry and functional properties of soft interfaces have not been clarified yet. We solicit researchers from different scientific disciplines to present theoretical, experimental, and computational studies in the following topics: the precise control of structure and dynamics of soft interfaces, characterization of soft interfaces, and novel functional properties of soft interfaces. The following scientists are nominated as invited speakers: Prof. M. Gee (Univ. Melbourne, Australia), Prof. C. Neto(Univ. Sydney, Australia), Prof. G. C. Walker(Univ. Toronto, Canada), Prof. F. M. Winnik(Univ. Montreal, Canada), Prof. Y.-C. Han(CIAC, China), Prof. X. Zhang(Tsingha Univ., China), Prof. W. Wang(Nankai Univ., China) Prof. J.-K. Kim (POSTECH, Korea), Prof K.-W. Shin(Sogang University, Korea), Prof. B.-H. Sohn (Seoul National Univ., Korea), Prof. Y. Tsujii (Kyoto Univ., Japan), Prof. T. Serizawa(Univ Tokyo, Japan), Prof. K. Tanaka (Kyushu Univ., Japan) , Prof. Y. Miura (Kyushu Univ., Japan) , Prof. M. Nakagawa(Tohoku Univ., Japan), Prof. R.-M. Ho(National Tsinhua Univ., Taiwan), Prof. O. K. C. Tsui(Boston Univ., U.S.A.), Prof. T. J. McCarthy(Univ. Massachusetts, USA), Prof. Q. Wang(Univ. South Carolina, USA), Prof. J. Schlenoff (Florida State Univ., USA). Prof. K. Wagener (Univ.
