This symposium will focus on the chemistry of coordination polymers and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). A diverse and stimulating program has been put together that encompasses various aspects of the field including optical, electronic, and magnetic properties of coordination polymers, chemistry inside porous MOFs, and the application of these materials in catalysis. Keynote speakers include Susumu Kitagawa (Kyoto University), Stuart Batten (University of Melbourne) and Seth Cohen (UCSD).
