Note: Invited speakers, presenters, and attendees from China, Hong Kong, and other Asian countries are having difficulty using online registration because of Browser compatibility issues.  If you are having difficulty registering online and are using a current Internet Browser, then use a registration form and one of the alternative methods of registering by phone, Fax, or mail as detailed in "Registration Procedures," below.

 
All delegates must register in order to attend the technical sessions. The registration fee includes attendance at the opening ceremony and the Pacifichem Lecture, all technical sessions, use of the cyber cafes and the shuttle buses.  As an incentive to early registration, appreciably discounted fees are in effect for members of the Sponsoring and Official Participating Societies
 
All invited speakers must register in order to attend and present their paper in the oral sessions. Invited speakers should contact their symposium organizer to determine their registration fee is sponsored.

* Member fees are available to members of the seven co-sponsoring Societies: ACS, CSC, CSJ, KCS, RACI, NZIC, and CSS and the Official Participating Organizations.
 
** Student registration fees are available to full-time students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Post-doctoral fellows are not considered to be students.
 
***Accompanying Persons are spouses or other family members who wish to attend the opening mixer and ride the shuttle buses. Accompanying persons who attend the technical sessions must purchase a full (member, non-member, or student) registration. Children who are 16 yrs and younger do not need to register if accompanied by a conference-registered adult.
 
Registration Information for Attendees from Japan
 
The Chemical Society of Japan, a co-sponsor of Pacifichem 2010, has entered into an agreement with the Nippon Travel Agency Co., Ltd. to facilitate travel, housing, and registrationfor attendees coming to Pacifichem 2010 from Japan. Purchase orders are not accepted. Authorization to charge a credit card must accompany internet, phone, and faxed registrations.   A check made out in US dollars will also be accepted for mailed registrations.  Please make checks payable to ACS/Pacifichem 2010.  If you would like to send an international bank transfer, please contact the Pacifichem Registrar, Brenda Philpot at b_philpot@acs.org or by phone at 202-872-6111.
 
Please allow at least four weeks to process your request.  For US and Canadian residents, your badge and receipt will be mailed to you if your registration is received by November 1, 2010.  All other registrants will need to pick up their registration credentials onsite at one of the Registration areas located at the Hawaii Convention Center, the Sheraton Waikiki ballroom lobby and the Hilton Hawaiian Village Mid-Pacific Conference Center.  Pacifichem 2010 Programs will be available onsite.
 
Press Resgistrations
Members of the Press must apply online for registration credentials using the Pacifichem Media Application Form.
 
Registration Cancellation/Refund Policies
Cancellations received by November 1, 2010, are entitled to a full refund, less a $50 administration fee. All refunds are issued via the same method used for payment. Refunds are processed within 30 days after the conclusion of the meeting.
 
Return your unused registration credentials to ACS by November 1, 2010, if you cancel before receipt of your registration credentials in the mail, contact the Pacifichem 2010 Customer Service for further instructions. Refund requests made after November 1, 2010 will not be honored.
 
All requests for refunds must be received in writing by the Pacifichem 2010 Customer Service office.  Send requests to:

VISA Information
Pacifichem 2010 registrants who are not U.S. citizens should check with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate to determine the requirements for visas and the time needed for visa applications to be processed.  The Pacifichem Congress staff will contact U.S. embassies and consulates in Pacific Basin countries and in other countries from which registrants are expected to come and provide them with information on the Congress and request that they process applications expeditiously in accord with applicable laws and procedures.  More information on Visa Applications can be found on the Pacifichem website, US Visa Information.
