Housing for Pacifichem 2010 is now open.  The Congress has contracted a wide selection of hotel rooms in Honolulu with competitive rates.  All attendees who book their room through the official housing bureau will receive complimentary internet access in their sleeping rooms. The Housing Connection has been selected as the official housing bureau for Pacifichem 2010.  The Congress does not endorse booking hotel reservations through any other sources.
 
Sessions will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center, the Hilton Hawaiian Village, the Sheraton Waikiki, and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. See Session Location Grid.
 

Sleeping rooms for Pacifichem 2010 have been blocked at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, the Ala Moana Hotel, the Sheraton Waikiki, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, the Westin Moana Surfrider, the Sheraton Kaulani Princess, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, the Waikiki Marriott, the Holiday Inn Waikiki, and the Aqua Palms.  See Map of Hotels & Hotel Information. Rates range from $99.00 to $259.00 per night plus appropriate taxes. Preferred Congress rates will be available until Friday, November 12, 2010.  After this time, reservations will be taken on a space and rate available basis.

Confirmations will be sent by The Housing Connection. Please review all information for accuracy.  Email confirmations will be sent if an email address is provided (this is preferred), or they can be faxed or mailed.  If you do not receive a confirmation or have questions, please call The Housing Connection at the above number.  You will not receive a confirmation from the hotel.

 

A Room Deposit is required to secure your reservation.  Reservations will not be accepted without a room deposit of one night’s room rental plus tax for each room reserved.  Room deposits will be accepted by credit card when you make your reservation using fax, phone, or the online system.  A check made payable to The Housing Connection can also be sent when you make your reservation by mail.  Please mail your housing reservation to the address indicated on the housing form.  If the charge to the credit card is denied, we reserve the right to release your reservation.

 

If you require special accommodations because of a disability, please mark the appropriate box on you housing form.  Be sure to reconfirm any special arrangements directly with your assigned hotel.

 

Cancellations after November 12, 2010, and prior to 72 hours before arrival date will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.  One night’s room and tax will be forfeited if cancellation occurs within 72 hours before arrival date.

 
All rates are per room and are subject to 13.96% tax (subject to change).  See Hotel Information for a grid with the hotel prices and other information. Special requests cannot be guaranteed.  However, hotels will do their best to honor all requests.  Hotels will assign specific rooms upon check-in, based on availability. See the Map of Hotels for a map of the Waikiki Beach area showing the official Pacifichem hotels.
 
Attendees from Japan. The Chemical Society of Japan, a co-sponsor and host of Pacifichem 2010, has entered into an agreement with the Nippon Travel Agency Co., Ltd. to facilitate travel, housing, and registration arrangements for attendees coming to Pacifichem 2010 from Japan. Residents of Japan can obtain information in Japanese and book their hotel reservations as well as register for the meeting and book airline reservations by contacting Nippon Travel Agency directly at Tel: 03-5369-4540; Fax: 03-3225-1009. Registrations and packaged tours to and from Honolulu will be available from late July through Nippon Travel Agency. After October 31, meeting registrations must go through the Pacifichem registration services.
